Used in aromatherapy, ylang ylang oil provides a sense of calm and reduces stress and tension. It is also known as a powerful aphrodisiac. Due to its deep, sweet and invigorating aroma, it is often used in perfume compositions or as a fragrance in cosmetics. Used topically on the skin, ylang ylang oil can help balance and regulate oil production, preventing excess oiliness or dryness of the skin and scalp. It is also thought to help relieve skin inflammation and irritation. When added to a massage blend, ylang ylang essential oil can help reduce physical and mental fatigue. Ylang ylang essential oil blends well with essential oils of bergamot, frankincense (boswellia), sandalwood, grapefruit, tea tree and vetiver. Attention! For external use only. Always dilute.
