Dark sesame pasta is made from 100% unhulled sesame seeds in a small town in the Netherlands. Thus, its production process has left a minimal CO2 footprint. It is a pure, sesame paste with a rich, slightly salty flavour.
Tahini is suitable as a base for sauces and baked goods. It can be mixed with miso or soy sauce for a special flavour, or made into homemade hummus. But tahini is also great in sweet pastries, breakfasts and smoothies.
