Reishi mushroom, grows in Asia and has long been used in Asian traditional medicine for longevity and general health. Nowadays, Reishi is used as a food supplement because of its health-promoting properties.
The main biologically active compounds in rice are beta-glucan polysaccharides and ganodeceric and ganoderenic acids (also known as triterpenes). In addition, reishi contains polyphenol antioxidants, prebiotic fibre, ergosterol (a vitamin D substitute), peptides, enzymes and more.
Recommended daily dose: 2 g powder. Use as a water infusion or stirred into cocktails and foods.
