Organic Cedar pine essential oil, 10 ml, ALTEYA Cedarwood essential oil is extracted from parts of the Cedrus Deodara tree by steam distillation. The oil is pale yellow in colour and has a pleasant fresh, woody aroma. Over the centuries, various cultures, such as Native American and Tibetan communities, have used cedar pine essential oil to relieve various mild and severe ailments. Cedarwood oil also relaxes the body and mind, making it ideal for use in religious ceremonies and spiritual practices. It has also been used in the cosmetics industry. When used in cosmetics, cedarwood essential oil helps to relieve skin irritation, redness and itching, as well as dryness that causes cracking, flaking or the formation of villi. Cedarwood oil is also known to protect the skin from environmental pollutants and toxins, helping to prevent or reduce the likelihood of rashes.
