Environmentally friendly high quality organic brown basmati riceis perfect for stews with curries or pilaf. The rice is also delicious on its own with margarine, oil and spices.
Brown rice also regulates digestion and prevents diarrhoea or constipation. They also contains beneficial fatty acids, vitamins B1, B3 and B6 and manganese, phosphorus and iron. Brown rice also contains phytic acid, which binds excess minerals and removes them from the body. Rice absorbent properties make it one of the main products used for body cleansing.
Preparation: boil a mixture of 1 part rice and 2 parts water for about 30-40 minutes on a gentle heat without stirring.
