Fragrant grass (Hierochloe odorata) is the ‘hair palm’ of Mother Earth, usually interwoven of three salps. The dried patsas are burned at the beginning of a prayer or ceremony to purify the spirit. Cedar, an aromatic resin-bearing tree also used in cleansing rituals and healing rites. The cedar is said to attract good mood and remove negative energy. In this incense, the soft vanilla aroma from the fragrant grass blends with the scent of cedar to offer protection, cleansing and positivity.
