It is a clear liquid with a fresh, woody and medicinal scent. Used in aromatherapy, eucalyptus essential oil stimulates the mind and energises the body. It is also known to ease breathing during colds or flu and to kill harmful bacteria. Eucalyptus essential oil, used in cosmetics, has skin regenerative properties. It is also beneficial for acne-prone skin – cleansing and disinfecting. It can also soothe insect bites and stings and help cuts and other wounds heal faster. When used in hair care, this oil moisturises and cleanses dry or itchy scalps. Eucalyptus oil is effective as a kitchen cleaner due to its antibacterial and antimicrobial properties. In aromatherapy, eucalyptus essential oil blends well with peppermint, spearmint, thyme, rosemary, pine, cedar, lavender, lemon and bergamot oils. Attention! For external use only. Always dilute.
