Hand-harvested algae from the natural coastal environment of Galicia (Bay of Biscay and Portuguese waters).

Preparation: before use, the product must be pre-treated: boiled for 5 minutes or soaked in water for 20 minutes (the weight of the dried product increases sixfold).
Suggestions for use: add cooked to salads, soups and stews. It can also be used as a thickener and stabiliser in sauces, soups and desserts.

Suitable for consumption by all except infants and young children.
Suitable for vegans and vegetarians.

Approximately 0.3 g of dehydrated and 10 g of rehydrated algae contain 150 µg of iodine (SPK according to EU Regulation No 1169/2011).
