In terms of flavour, Japan’s Premium Sencha Konomi tea combines light bitter tones with a delicate floral character. Sencha tea is rich in vitamin C. This Sencha green tea comes from Kagoshima, Kyushu. It is Japan’s southernmost prefecture, located on the main island of Kyushu, about 1,000 km from Tokyo, and enjoys a humid temperate climate.
Sencha, a popular Japanese green tea, is prized for its delicate flavour and health benefits. It is rich in antioxidants, such as catechins and EGCG, in terms of which it can help reduce inflammation, protect against cell damage and reduce the risk of chronic disease. Preparation:
12-15 g tea – 1 L tap water (75-80°C), steep for 2-3 minutes.
3 g tea – 200 ml tap water (75-80°C), steep for 2-3 minutes.
