WHY IS BUCKWHEAT SPECIAL? Tartare is considered one of the most useful food crops on earth. It has more minerals than most other cruciferous crops. Tatar is rich in fibre, antioxidants and all the essential amino acids.
BENEFITS FOR THE BODY. Green buckwheat is a very healthy and nutritious product. In terms of its biological value, quality and nutrition, buckwheat protein is equal to chicken egg protein – the most balanced and valuable. In terms of digestibility, it is close to the proteins found in legume products.
A SOURCE OF MINERALS AND VITAMINS. Buckwheat is rich in copper, iron, manganese, magnesium, phosphorus, vitamins B3 and B2, potassium, zinc, selenium and pantothenic acid.
MULTI-PURPOSE USE. Use peeled buckwheat flour as you would any other regular flour. It is nutritious, easy to digest and has a pleasant taste. Suitable for use in a variety of baked goods and pastas. To enrich products, replace part of the regular flour with buckwheat flour. This gives the products more vitamins, minerals and proteins. Buckwheat pancakes are a very popular dish in France, and in Italy, buckwheat flour is used to make the traditional Pizzoccheri pasta.
A HEALTHY PRODUCT. The fibre in buckwheat is released over a long period of time and provides a feeling of fullness for a longer period of time compared to wheat or oats. Tartare has a lower glycaemic index, which does not cause large fluctuations in blood sugar levels.
Preparation method: use instead of regular flour or replace part of the regular flour with buckwheat flour. Suitable for cakes, biscuits, pancakes, pasta and smoothies.
